Custom Hydraulic Rams for Leading Cruise Company

Ram Reman Ltd., a specialist in hydraulic cylinder design, manufacture, and refurbishment, completed the delivery of several custom-designed hydraulic rams for a prominent cruise company. The project, facilitated through our sister company, Rotec Hydraulics, underscores our expertise in providing robust and reliable hydraulic solutions for demanding marine environments.

The comprehensive order included the design and manufacture of seven double-acting platform cylinders, each with a 750mm stroke, alongside two double-acting mooring deck platform cylinders, featuring a 530mm stroke. These critical components are engineered to withstand the rigorous operational demands of modern cruise vessels, ensuring optimal performance and safety for various onboard systems.

A key aspect of the manufacturing process involved the application of a durable two-pack white paint finish in Ram Reman's dedicated spray shop. This specialised coating provides superior protection against the corrosive effects of saltwater and harsh marine conditions, significantly extending the lifespan and reliability of the hydraulic rams.
