Telehandler Ram Full Overhaul

Our team at Ram Reman undertook the full overhaul, including a new rod, of a telehandler ram for a leading heavy equipment manufacturer - specialising in the design and manufacture of handling, lifting and earthmoving equipment, such as telehandlers and forklift trucks.

Following a thorough strip down and inspection, the rod was found to be beyond repair. Our engineers then proceeded with a complete overhaul of the ram's internal components. This included:

• Honing the internal bore of the ram barrel to restore  its smooth, cylindrical surface, ensuring a perfect seal and efficient fluid flow.

• Replacement of seals and bushes with high quality components to prevent leaks and minimise friction.

• The ram was meticulously reassembled with the new rod.

  
  

After the full rebuild, the ram was cleaned and prepped for painting in-house. Our skilled team applied a high-quality, durable paint finish to the client's color preference.
