Designed, manufactured and painted at Ram Reman, our team recently completed these locking and horizontal cylinders for a British company who specialise in the design and manufacture of bespoke autoclaves for world-leading companies within aerospace, motorsport, military, electronics and tobacco sectors.
Autoclaves operate at very high temperatures and are pressure vessels. They are used within various industries to cure components and composites.
The average working temperature for an industrial autoclave is 250 degrees celsius and pressures of up to 7 bar. However, our client design their autoclaves to operate at temperatures up to 400 degrees celsius.
The hydraulic locking and horizontal cylinders designed, manufactured and painted by our team will be added to a new autoclave system, which is to be installed and commissioned on site in conjunction with our customer.
