Following a request from an OEM from the Marine industry, our team designed and manufactured four hydraulic rams for a boat garage door system.
The stainless steel cylinders have a fully extended length of over 1500mm and an extend force of 327 KGF per cylinder. The rams were finished with a mirror polish, which has the advantage of friction and corrosion resistance - something that is particularly important for our customer who is located waterside.
The rams are part of a collaborative boat garage door system project with Rotec Hydraulics Ltd. The system will arrive pre-assembled and ready to fit having been tested at Rotec's facility to confirm parts are correctly assembled and in full working order.
The boat garage door system is designed to provide hydraulic power to the hydraulic cylinders to open and close the garage door. Designed and manufactured by Rotec's technical team, a 24V DC Hydraulic Power Pack with required looms/hoses and control panel features an emergency stop and in the event of loss of power, the doors can be manually opened/closed.
